MY WORK IS NOT STOCK AND IS COPYRIGHTED.
The composition is the strongest point in this shot in my opinion. Nothing of interest is centered, the foreground rock sits nicely slightly to the right. This for me balances the image very well, and allows the eye to lead up to the rest of the shot brilliantly.
We then move to the top part of the image, where the rock formations frame everything brilliantly, very well done.
The exposure of the shot looks great, the water looks so soft, and inviting, showing all of the rock formations underneath with superb clarity. Moving up in the image again, we notice a gap in the large rocks which creates a door way to the open sea, well balanced, and reflected on the water.
The detail across the entire shot is good, showing the textures for what they really are, with no real quality loss.
One of the major flaws in the final image is the halo effect around the top rock formations, this can be easily corrected though. I notice a small white area, a rock I think, to the right of the gap in the large rock walls. This could be corrected so it isn't as much of a blown highlight.
I would also maybe try and burn/dodge the surrounding area of the foreground rock, to give it a little more contrast, and solitude, but that's nothing major, or a flaw in the shot.
The colours are very different, and unique, I personally think they work very well, especially with this shot in particular.
Overall, a fantastic capture, and well processed apart from some minor injuries.
